American Roofing & Metal Inc. offers a variety of roof coatings to help maintain and prolong a roof life and performance.  While there are numerous roof coatings on the market, it is our families experience in the industry for the last century that coatings should be used mainly for maintenance, prolonged life of an existing roofing system and should not be used in place of a new roofing application.  While coatings can be cost effective most coating warranties are not worth the paper the warranty is written on, the majority of coatings typically over promise and underperform for the sq. ft. value that coatings cost.  When coating a roof it is extremely important to use a coating that has been around for along time and stood the test of time within the industry.  It is our experience that most owners who choose to coat their entire roof usually regret the decision within the first five years.
