Little Sisters of the Poor

Project Overview

This property was severely damaged during the hail storm of 2012. We replaced the shingles, all copper flashings, custom box gutters, and downspouts. The shingles were shipped directly from the plant to our staging area in the rear of the site. We used extended reach forklifts to lift the shingles to the various roof areas. Our crews worked in sections and within set time frames in order to limit the disturbance inside the facility. The copper work was a difficult and time consuming challenge for the crew. The gutters were custom bent in our shop in 10’ lengths and then soldered together on site. All downspouts, drops, and miters were also custom fabricated and soldered. The end result is a roof system unlike any other in the city.
